John Ormsby

John was born in Scotland in 1969 and trained and worked as a Graphic Designer in Glasgow. John moved to England in 2002 and started painting in his spare time but is now a full time artist, working from his home in Bolton, Greater Manchester.

“I am inspired by the streets around me, people going about their daily business, and how the weather changes how streets and people look. In my paintings I am trying to create the world as I would like it to be, or as it once was.”
